Discovering a Writing Topic

Deciding on what to write is sometimes a hard thing to do. You need to pick a subject that you are very intersted in and something that you have alot to write on.
I guess I could write about Albania since, Im Albanian or even about the middle east since it really interests me and I really dont know much about it.
I really dont like to write so I have a diffucult time thinking about what I actually want to write about. Hopefully this class wont be too dreadfull. : /

Matin Luther King wanted peace between white people and black people. He did everything is his power to make people see that we are all the same. He was a leader in the civil right movement and his life was dedacted to it. He was assassinated in 1968. However, in 2011 racism has not disapeared.

Last Monday my boyfriends uncle was murdered. He was working at his shop when two people came in and tried robbing the place. One of the men had a gone and shot the worker. Unfortantly he passed. The men robbing the store were both black. So on Martin Luther King day, a symbol of nonprejudice and nonracism an innocent man dies from another race. This I believe is why people these days are still racist.

Writing has always ben really hard for me. I need alot of improvement and dont really look forward to it. I dont enjoy writing at all. Id rather do math problems for two hours straight than write a 20 min paper. I really hope I do good in this class. I will make it to every class but I can't promise I will be on time. I am always late to everything.
I have previosly tooken English 1060 last semester. This is my second english class in college. In high school I passed all my english classes with an A, but we didnt have to do much writing. High school was very easy for me. I graudated in 09' with a 3.5 GPA. Since I stated OCC I have had a hard time with my education.
Im hoping for the best this semester :]
